The Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) and American Medical Association (AMA) Collaborate in Practice Conference is next month, and features a robust, four-hour MACRA Readiness Workshop. We'll lead this workshop in collaboration with our colleagues, and are very excited about it.
The workshop will be led by four industry experts: Ellen Burkett M.D., Doral Jacobsen, MBA, FACMPE, Nanci Robertson, M.A., RN, BSN and Clarify's CEO, Amber Winkler, MHA, PCMH CCE. We know, you may be thinking, that's a lot of post-nominal letters in one sentence. These four ladies bring diverse skill sets, a combined over 90 years of health care experience, and are equipped and excited to help leaders in health care understand and capitalize on MACRA.
This workshop is a fantastic opportunity for healthcare professionals to gain a better, more comprehensive understanding of MACRA.
Specifically in regards to the potential economic impact of the Quality Payment Program (QPP) relative to Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) and Alternative Payment Model (APM) paths. It will also help in defining how Physician Quality and Resource Use Report (QRURs) can be used to define a pathway in the Quality Payment Program (QPP). The workshop can help health care professionals discover customized tactical steps to take in 2017 to position for success in the Quality Payment Program (QPP) and gain a more rounded understanding for how affiliations can impact QPP scores and how health care organizations can utilize QRUR data to accelerate performance in many other areas.
This MACRA Readiness Workshop Pre-Conference event will be held on Sunday April 9th from 1:00pm to 5:00pm CT.
We hope to see you there!
